Now unto the third Worddly writing prompt!

I turned my hand over to find blood slowly but steadily pooling in my palm.

As we embark upon yet another new writing prompt, I wanted to mention again that the posted dates are only when we will post the new writing prompts and not necessarily a deadline for submissions. Of course, we prefer for the prompts to be submitted on time -- but you can get back to any prompt whenever you like! Whatever works for you, okay? Again, we mentioned this on the last writing prompt announcement post, but it is certainly worth emphasizing!
